 Despite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's frequent public appearances worldwide since stepping back from royal duties, their children, Lilibet and Archie, remain largely out of the public eye. Unlike Prince William and Kate Middleton's children, who have a higher profile, Lilibet and Archie are kept much more private. So why aren’t Harry and Meghan sharing updates about their kids?

According to a source close to the couple, Meghan and Harry are hesitant to release photos of their children at the moment. They wish to share their lives with the public but are concerned about safety. This concern stems from the inadequate security they face during visits to the UK, which makes them reluctant to bring their children along.

The source highlights that Harry and Meghan’s children lack the level of security afforded to William and Kate’s kids. “William’s children, for instance, have significantly more protection, even though they are well-known. Meghan and Harry’s children do not have that same level of security,” the source explained. “While they understand the public’s interest in their kids, they will likely continue to keep a low profile until their safety situation improves.”

The family appears to be thriving in Montecito, California, where they have found a greater sense of happiness compared to their time in London. Although Harry misses his home country, he prioritizes his family’s safety and well-being. “Harry has a fondness for his homeland, but his wife and children come first. Ensuring their safety and happiness in Montecito is his top priority,” the friend shared.

Meghan and Harry are deeply involved in their children’s lives. “They’re very hands-on, taking their kids to and from school and being actively present throughout the day,” the source noted. “Archie is sweet, curious, and playful, while Lili is vibrant and joyful.”

The couple’s relationship remains strong, with their bond growing even deeper amidst the challenges they’ve faced. “They are incredibly in sync,” the friend said. “No matter the drama or conflicts they've encountered, they’ve stood by each other through it all.”
