Jay Leno, the 74-year-old comedian and former host of “The Tonight Show,” is taking steps to prepare for retirement and his later years, including making plans to donate a large portion of his wealth to an automotive museum.
Following his departure from late-night television, Leno hosted “Jay Leno’s Garage” from 2015 to 2022, where he showcased his deep passion for cars and motorcycles. Recently, however, Leno has faced significant health challenges, including severe burns and a motorcycle accident. His wife, Mavis, 77, is also struggling with dementia, leading Leno to obtain conservatorship over her inheritance. As part of his plans, Leno intends to leave his car collection to a museum and allocate $7 million to his family members.
